Ikigai

🌱 Ikigai derives from two Japanese words: "iki" (生き), which symbolizes life, and "gai" (甲斐), meaning value. Although the direct translation might not fully capture its depth, it includes:

  • 🎯 Reason for living
  • 🌟 Purpose of life
  • 💖 What makes life worth living

🌀 For me, Ikigai represents a "sweet spot" that perhaps only I see, or maybe I didn't see it yet but desired it, felt it.

I have explored life without fixed goals, driven by the desire to discover and reconnect with that intangible joy.

It is deeply connected to my name, Anastasia, which means 'resurrection.'

This reflects my journey of continual rebirth through:

  1. 🍂 Letting go of many past versions of myself
  2. 🌈 Welcoming changes and losses, which pave the way for new beginnings
  3. 🧩 Discovering how these transformations converge, bringing clarity and understanding to my life's purpose

🌞 Ikigai is not just about finding a single point of fulfillment. It's a continual exploration and rediscovery of self, akin to the ongoing rebirth implied in my name.

Every day offers a new opportunity to rise again and renew our passion and purpose, making a meaningful contribution to the world where passion, mission, vocation, and profession meet.
